Return visit after a couple of years. Warm and comfortable seating, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely food. We had a BLT on white sliced bread with crisps and side salad (£7). Fresh ingredients and perfect bacon, one of the nicest I've ever had. Nice cup of tea to go with it.

Very dog friendly. Ours enjoyed a sausage and cuddles. Delicious food, the home made soup was gorgeous and the sandwiches fresh and tasty. Warm and friendly staff. Highly recommend

We had a really nice lunch, we both had BLT sandwiches and coffee, the food was really nice, the sandwich also had a lovely side salad with vinegarette and some crisps. We couldn't say no to some cake, my Wife had a slice of lemon and blueberry and I had the orange cake they were lovely. Great food, lovely friendly staff and a bonus that the cafe is also dog friendly. We will definitely visit again if we go back to Lincoln.

We had wonderful fresh sandwiches and hot drinks but alcohol and cakes are also sold. Very friendly staff, no waiting around. Should have been packed but oddly it wasn't.

Stopped off here for lunch whilst shopping in Lincoln. Lovely vibe, very relaxing. Friendly staff, although they did seem a little rushed, maybe short staffed. A family near to us seemed to be waiting a long time. I had a small hummus salad with pitta, which was nice, I think it should have had some balsamic vinegar and a little more feta. Husband wanted broccoli and stilton soup but they had run out so he went for the mixed bean which was a little watery. We then had some cake, I had a slice of lemon and blueberry sponge cake and hubby had the coffee and walnut cake. Both cakes were overly sweet and quite dry unfortunately. The drinks, husband had Americano and I had a cappuccino, I think the milk was Uht which isn't to my taste. Also if the menu were on the tables and not by the till, I think this would help and save time. The whole meal cost £34 which isn't cheap by anyone's standards, I think there's room for improvement.

You have a lovely view of Steep Hill and a viewpoint over Lincoln if you sit outside. I had a loaded bagel with good quality ingredients and a nice combination of flavours. I would only say the portion sizes could be a little bigger for the price. Looked like a good cake selection too, though I didn't try that.
